  • We were there with relatives who had a relationship with the owner. My son-in-law talked to the owner and chef came to the table and he ordered for all. I am from LI. I love all that he ordered. Lots of shell fish. All was fresh. All was perfectly cook. Multiple wine and champagne all excellent. Couldn't ask for better. $$$$.

  • I stayed here in December 2017. Was not too happy with the experience for my money. First, I had purchased the Metro north package to visit NYC. I called and confirmed that the hotel would have my train tickets ready...they said that they would be ready at the desk. They weren't ready. Having never been to NYC, wasn't sure how the ticket system worked... Thank goodness we were able to buy them at the kiosk at the station. Second, I was woken up at 2am. The people in the room next to me were screaming and I heard every word they said. It scared me and my heart was racing...I had trouble falling back asleep. I know it's not really the hotel's fault that the guests were yelling but I wish they were a little aware of what was going on. I guess that you should just be aware that the walls are thin. Then, I was planning to eat breakfast at their continental spread. The problem was that there wasn't a single gluten free item in the buffet. I have celiac disease and my body can't process wheat. I politely asked if they had any gluten free options like fruit or cereal. They told me that I could purchase yogurt. So, I left to go purchase breakfast elsewhere. I don't think it would have hurt to give me a small cup of yogurt...I wasn't looking for something like an omelette or Belgian waffles...nothing crazy. I left a comment card in the room after my stay and didn't hear back at all from anyone. Not even a "thank you for the feedback." I just feel like for the price, I received poor customer service. I doubt I will be going back anytime soon. As of August 2018--I never did hear back from anyone at this hotel... It was a very disappointing stay. There was not a single thing I could eat at the continental breakfast. And it was poor customer service that they wouldn't ever offer a cup of yogurt or piece of fruit....

  • My stay was everything I expected and more. Staff was exceptional. They make sure you get a room w/ a balcony that faces the Harbor. Ocean view is the best view. Ben is a great hands on staff. He takes your bags, parks your car and more. He’s a pleasure.

  • We attended a wedding reception on a Saturday evening. The place was stunning top to bottom. The decor was elegant without being over the top, the service was impeccable, and the food was some of the best my husband and I have had. We did not stay there so I can't rate the rooms, but from the lobby and dining room, my guess is the rooms are equally beautiful.

  • Attending a wedding at this location - it was such a complete experience. The food was amazing, service was exceptional. A very lovely venue with the cocktail hour on the covered patio overlooking the harbor
