  • Overpriced and disappointing food, but pretty restaurant and nice happy hour

  • I tried several items here, the crab cakes, sea food chili, cold lobster roll, shrimp & grits and the clam chowder. The crab cakes, lobster roll and shrimp & grits were disappointing. But this restaurant regained me someone that would return singularly for the chowder!!! Best I have had in New England to date. Second, the sea food chili was surprising astounding and anyone that swings by should try this dish!!!

  • This is what an oyster bar is supposed to be like. A really nice bar, great oysters/steamers/mussels. Pro tip: Happy hour every day from 5-6pm, includes great appetizers

  • This place is small and quaint not fancy. The food is very good. The service is excellent. It is a bit pricey for the fare. They don't have whole belly clams on the menu, but they deep fried up some little necks for me. Very tasty. Nice beer selection and wine list and of course a great bar also. Signature clam chowder was good but not really clam chowder...I am a clam chowder fanatic. It is impossible to get a real milky creamy chowder, anywhere, short of going to Massachusetts. Most places, over spice and try to create their own versions and stray from the traditional creamy, scalded milk, cream, clam juice and potato recipe with chunks of top neck clams. A very well run establishment. Thumbs up!

  • Too noisy, and it took a long time to get our order. One of the plates came much later tha the rest (but it was compensated with desserts on the house). Food was OK.

  • by Ellie I. on 05/26/2017 Elm Street Oyster was recommended to me by a friend. We booked a reservation on OpenTable. We arrived and we're greater with enthusiasm and great service...

  • By Ceren on 08/25/2017 Very cozy and nice atmosphere and delicious foods. I ordered house salad with scallops on it and Brussels sprouts as side dish. It was the best sprouts I've ever eaten and the salad was great, too.
  • By Jenny on 07/04/2014 Delicious food and great service! Also great if you're in Greenwich and looking for a quiet bar stool to watch a game with a cocktail. Highly recommend!

  • By Suzanne on 07/30/2017 Food was overcooked, servers were unfriendly, and food was subpar. Do not understand why they have good rating.
  • By Ross on 07/11/2010 we both were physically sick two hours after eating a dozen oysters
  • By Edward on 04/29/2010 No booze, just beer and wine.
  • By Rob on 11/25/2012 Awful service + mediocre food = no return.
